Frequently Asked Questions

Can I participate in more than 2 events?
Yes, the cost is $5.00 per additional event per person; however you need to pay close attention to the time slot for the events you sign up for a make sure they do not overlap…you will not be able to be in two places at the same time.

Can we register online?
Yes. The CCC website (www.corporatecupchallenge.com) is designed to be user friendly to those needing to register. We also allow registration forms and payment to be sent to our mailing address at P.O. Box 1226, Greenwood, IN 46142. The committee members are available to answer any questions you may have and to assist with the registration process should you need help.

Can I just participate in bowling?
Yes, but the bowling event is intended to be a perk (FREE) for those who are participating in other events throughout the weekend, hence it being our Kick-Off Event. The cost is $25.00 per person to bowl if the participant is not playing in any other events.

If I only participate in 1 event, do I still have to pay $25.00?
Yes, this event is organized and designed to raise money for two local and worthy charitable organizations. There are no discounts for single event participants.

When will I get my shirt and bag?
If you are only participating in bowling and have paid your fee, then you will receive your shirt at the bowling alley. If you are participating in events outside of bowling and have paid your fee, then you will receive your shirt at the first event you are participating in outside of bowling.

Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes. Concession items will be available at each location for participants to purchase. Concessions will be open during the hours of play. Complimentary bottled water will be provided at the Community Life Center and The Gathering Place for participants and volunteers only. Southern Bowl’s concessions serve an assortment of food and beverages, which are available for purchase.

Are the shirt sizes for men and women?
All shirts are men sizes.

Can my children participate?
Children may ONLY participate if he/she is 18 years of age or older.

Can we bring our kids and/or other spectators?
Yes, all fans our welcome. NOTE: Seating is limited and all spectators risk being injured if too close to the action or if caught not paying attention. Children are to be supervised by an adult at all times.

Will we have access to the rules prior to the event?
Yes. All of our rules will be posted on our website well in advance of play.

Can we get access to pictures taken by the event photographers?
Yes. All photos will be accessible either on the CCC website or on the website of the photographer.

Will there be a captains meeting before game time?
Yes. Each referee will call the captains for a brief meeting immediately before play to review the rules and answer any questions.

When will my event begin?
We ask that each participant check the registration form or website to see the beginning of the block time for their event. If an event is listed with the block of 6pm-10pm then the participant needs to be there at 6pm even if they are in the second game. Circumstances and times can change if a team decides not to show up.

How many games will I be playing per event?
It depends on the event. Please check the website for rules and type of play per event.

What does Mandatory Co-Ed or MC mean?
MC stands for Mandatory Co-Ed which means that a minimum of two female players must be in the game at all times, unless eliminated during a game.

What does CLC, GP & SB stand for?
CLC represents the Mount Pleasant Christian Church Community Life Center, GP represents The Gathering Place at Community Church of Greenwood, and SB represents Southern Bowl.

Who are the judges for the Spirit Award?
The Corporate Cup Committee and a few other volunteers.

How will we know how we ranked on an event?
A score sheet will be kept and tallied following each event. It will be displayed in a prominent location for participants to see.

How do we know if we won the overall Corporate Cup Challenge?
Final results will be posted on our website for all to see and emailed to team captains the week following the Challenge.

If we do not win, can we leave?
We recommend you stay for the remainder of your event for several reasons: 1) To make sure you don’t play in a loser’s bracket, 2) To support other participants or your co-workers in other events, and 3) To be there for the Medal Awards Ceremony at the conclusion of each event.
